Geotest Introduces Low-Cost High-Speed Digital I/O
Santa Ana, CA. (February 27, 2001) - Geotest - MTS, a Marvin Group company, today announced the introduction of GX5250, Low-cost High-Speed digital I/O card.
The GX5250 is a Digital Input or Output card design to capture or stimulate extra-long patterns at rates up to 70 MHz. Using an unparalleled 256Mbyte of on-board memory, the GX5250 provides 64Mbit of vector memory behind each pin. The GX5250 accepts I/O modules from the GX59xx family to provide popular levels including TTL, ECL, PECL, LVDS, and programmable levels.
The GX5250 is a 6U PXI board that provides 32 digital Inputs or Outputs for real time capturing or stimuli. Using its extra deep vector memory, the GX5250 can be used to capture extremely long patterns up to 64Mbit deep. The GX5250 can be used in conjunction with the GX5050 and GX5150 to provide additional test capabilities.
The GX5250 is supplied with software drivers to support development environments such as: Microsoft Visual C++, Borland C, ATEasy, Microsoft Visual Basic, Borland Pascal, Borland Delphi and more. A virtual panel is provided for standalone applications and debug mode. 32-bit MS-Windows DLL - used with a WIN32 application running under Windows 95 and Windows NT.
Availability: Product shipment for the GX5250 is scheduled for May, 2001. The price for the product starts at $2450.
