Geotest Introduces New Multi-channel Programmable DC Source
Irvine, CA (June 14, 2002) Geotest-Marvin Test Systems, Inc., a global supplier of electronic test equipment for aerospace, semiconductors, telecom, medical, industrial and military applications announces the introduction of the GX1838, a 3U PXI multi-channel programmable DC source providing test engineers in avionics testing and other ATE applications with multiple discrete outputs.
The GX1838 provides 8 output channels and three programmable 14-bit Voltage Rails. Each voltage Rail can be programmed to output between –9V and +32V and can provide current of 100mA. The Rails can also be connected to an external input and Rail C can be connected to an on-board programmable electronic load. Each of the rails can be switched to any of 8 output channels.
Geotest developed the GX1838 and other PXI products as a result of a growing demand for low-cost, high-performance alternatives to VXI and rack instrumentation. Geotest also offers a wide range of high-performance, cost-effective PXI instruments including high-speed digital I/O, ROM emulators, switching, measurement, PXI chassis and controllers.
Availability: Product shipment for the GX1838 is scheduled for July 2002.
