Geotest to Participate in PXI Panel Discussion at ATC
Irvine, CA (October 10, 2002) – Geotest-Marvin Test Systems, Inc., a global supplier of electronic test equipment for aerospace, semiconductors, telecom, medical, industrial and military applications, announces that Loofie Gutterman, president, will participate in a panel discussion on the "Advantages and Disadvantages of PXI and VXI Modular Instrumentation Platforms" at AutoTestCon (ATC) on Tuesday, October 15.
Mr. Gutterman will discuss the rapid growth of PXI and how Geotest is leveraging this new technology to offer its customers high-performance, functional, reliable and cost-effective test solutions.
“Other high-performance test platforms such as GPIB or VXI are expensive and in many cases, require too much floor space that is not always available on the production floor. That’s why we provide our customers with the PXI alternative,” said Mr. Gutterman.
Since PXI became an open industry standard, Geotest has focused its R&D energy on producing PXI products including chassis, remote and embedded controllers, analog and digital test instruments, switching cards, programmable power supplies, and more. The wide range of PXI products (>600), both 3U and 6U, provide for a critical mass necessary to make PXI bus the platform of choice for any test and automation application.
