Geotest Contracts with Sealevel Systems to Broaden Product Line
Irvine, CA (Feb. 10, 2004) - Geotest-Marvin Test Systems, Inc., is pleased to announce an agreement with Sealevel Systems, Inc. Geotest will now carry Sealevel's CompactPCI RS-232 Serial Interface and RS-232/422/485 Serial Interface cards as part of their extensive line of PXI and PC-based products. The 3U Sealevel cards are PICMG 2.1 Rev. 3.0 and PCI Bus 2.2 compliant and compatible with both cPCI and PXI systems. The RS-232 Interface is ideal for data collection and telecom applications, while the RS-232/422/485 card works well for automation and control applications. Both cards come standard with 16850 UARTs with deep 128-byte FIFOs to reduce system overhead at high speeds.
"Sealevel's serial interface cards are a complimentary supplement to Geotest's current product offerings," said Lynn Murdock, Geotest's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "With these additions, we are able to provide our customers with a broader range of connectivity solutions along with the convenience of going to a single source for their test and measurement needs."
