Geotest Releases New PXI Standards Module
Geotest Releases New PXI Standards Module
AUTOTESTCON (September 15, 2007) - Geotest-Marvin Test Systems, Inc., a Marvin Group Company, has announced the addition of a new standards module to its line of analog PXI instrumentation products.
The GX1034 offers PXI system designers the capability to develop a system re-certification strategy that employs only internal system resources. By incorporating the GX1034 as part of a system configuration, it is possible to develop a system accuracy verification strategy that can recertify a system’s source and measure baseband instrumentation – resulting in simplified support / maintenance logistics and improved system availability. The module features NIST traceable voltage, resistance, and frequency standards.
"The GX1034 is a very unique product and offers test system designers and users a better method for recertifying and calibrating PXI-based systems and modules." said Mike Dewey, Sr. Marketing Manager at Geotest.
"By incorporating this module as part of an overall system certification strategy, support and maintenance logistics for ATE systems will be much improved resulting in better system availability and reliability."
