Geotest Introduces Static Digital I/O
Santa Ana, CA. (February 27, 2001) - Geotest - MTS, a Marvin Group company, today announced the introduction of GX5732, Low-cost Static Digital I/O card.
The GX5732 is a Static Digital Input or Output card with 224 I/O channels. Designed for ATE, data acquisition, or process control systems where a large number of discrete I/O channels are required, the GX5732 offers the highest density in the industry for a single PXI plug-in board. The 224 channels have TTL levels and the direction of each group of 8 channels can be programmed as Input or Output. Eight 8 bit 50 MHz counters can be used to provide counter and timing functions.
The GX5732 is a 6U PXI board that provides 224 digital Inputs or Outputs and 8 counters. The 224 TTL channels are programmable for Input or Output in groups of eight. The GX5732 has no on-board memory and uses the computer's memory and CPU power for data transfer.
The GX5732 is supplied with software drivers to support development environments such as: Microsoft Visual C++, Borland C, ATEasy, Microsoft Visual Basic, Borland Pascal, Borland Delphi and more. A virtual panel is provided for standalone applications and debug mode. 32-bit MS-Windows DLL - used with a WIN32 application running under Windows 95 and Windows NT.
Availability: Product shipment for the GX5732 is scheduled for May, 2001. The price for the product starts at $995.
