Geotest Exhibits at MSC 2004 in Anaheim
Irvine, CA (Jan. 7, 2004) - Geotest-Marvin Test Systems, Inc., will participate at the annual Measurement Science Conference (MSC) in Anaheim, CA, on January 14-16, 2004. They will showcase the latest in PXI technology, including the GX7100 family of 3U/6U Combination Chassis, as well as their line of obsolescence replacement solutions.
The GX7100 products are 14-slot combination PXI chassis that can accommodate up to thirteen 3U and 6U instruments and a PXI controller (an embedded CPU or a PXI bus expander interface). With a rugged design, front-loading of instrumentation, built-in peripherals (hard disk drive, floppy disk drive, and a CD-ROM or CD-RW drives), innovative cooling, and interfacing options, the GX7100 is ideal for any automatic test equipment (ATE), data acquisition, and process control application. The availability of both 6U and 3U slots in only 4U of rack space provides the versatility and high-density necessary to address many PXI applications and requirements. In addition, the various models offer such features as hinged front panel, cable tray, and recessed instrumentation to accommodate interface cabling.
Geotest’s obsolescence replacement line consists of both Form-Fit-Function products as well as complete system replacements.
Form-Fit-Function are drop in replacements for obsolete GPIB instruments from a variety of manufacturers including HP, Wavetek, Tektronix, and more. These replacements provide the same physical size, and specifications as the obsolete instruments they are replacing and respond to the original GPIB command set. They can simply be plugged in, and the tester is fully operational without changing a single line of code. Geotest also offers system replacement for Fluke/Summation SigmaSeries test systems. This system serves as a complete functional replacement.
