Geotest Releases New 6U PXI Chassis
Santa Ana, CA. (February 27, 2001) - Geotest - MTS, a Marvin Group company, today announced the introduction of GX7000, 20-Slot, 6U PXI chassis with built-in peripherals.
A revolutionary 6U PXI chassis, the GX7000 can accommodate up to 19 PXI or CompactPCI instruments. With the 6U form factor, the chassis can accommodate both 6U as well as 3U instruments, providing complete flexibility and a wide instrument selection.
The GX7000 can be supplied with an embedded controller, a Hard Disk drive, CD ROM, floppy drive, as well as Ethernet, parallel, serial, and USB connections. Alternatively, the GX7010 is also available, where it is controlled by an external desktop PC using a PXI bus expansion kit or a MXI-3 interface.
The GX7000 is the ONLY PXI Chassis in the world offering integrated Floppy Disk, a hard disk and CD-ROM drives. Adhering to the PXI specifications, the GX7000 is rugged and portable and meets stringent EMI standards.
