Geotest Releases New High Resolution DMM
Santa Ana, CA. (February 27, 2001) - Geotest - MTS, a Marvin Group company, today announced the introduction of SMX2040, 6 1/2 -Digit Digital Multimeter.
Geotest's new SMX2040 series DMMs are the ultimate high-performance Digital Multimeters for automated test, data acquisition, and control applications. With 6 1/2 digit resolution, 0.006% basic DCV accuracy and 1,000 readings per second, these DMMs offer an unsurpassed combination of resolution, accuracy, functionality, and speed.
Features commonly associated with "high-end" DMMs are standard with the SMX2040 family. The measurements and sourcing functions are isolated from the PC and are therefore truly differential. An on-board controller responds to high level commands from the PC, minimizing overhead.
The SMX2044 is best suited for applications demanding precision sources with simultaneous measurements such as in parametric testing, while the SMX2040 is best suited where basic DMM functions are required. The SMX2040 and SMX2044 are supplied with drivers for ATEasy and DLLs for LabVIEW, LabWindowsCVI, C, C++, and Visual Basic.
Availability: Product shipment for the SMX2040 is scheduled for March, 2001. The price for the product starts at $1195.
