Geotest Provides New I/O Module Options to Its Digital I/O Boards
Irvine, CA (December 5, 2002) – Geotest-Marvin Test Systems, Inc., a global supplier of electronic test equipment for aerospace, semiconductors, telecom, medical, industrial and military applications, today announced the addition of two digital input/output modules to its award-winning digital board family.
The GX5930 and GC5930 are programmable level I/O modules that provide 32 I/O channels of programmable outputs and programmable threshold inputs. They are used with applications that require custom voltages and threshold for devices other than TTL, ECL, PECL and LVDS. The GX5930 is used with PXI based modules and the GC5930 is used with PCI cards.
The GX5930 and GC5930 are used with Geotest’s digital I/O boards, the GX5050, GX5150 and GC5050 to provide output signals from 0V to +9V and capture input signals with a threshold of 0V to +9V.
The GX5930 and GC5930 are supplied with the DIOEasy software package that includes a virtual panel stand-alone application, driver and on-line documentation. The virtual panel can be used to interactively control the instrument from a window that displays the current instrument settings and allows the user to control and change them. The instrument driver is provided for Windows operating system (32 bit DLL). In addition to the driver library, various interface files provide access to the library from the user’s favorite programming tools and languages. These interface files support programming from ATEasy, Microsoft and Borland C/C++, Microsoft Visual Basic, LabView, Borland Delphi and more.
