The Hellfire Scalable Rail Launcher (HSRL) is transforming the integration of the Hellfire missile system on lightweight platforms. With a significant weight reduction and DC only operation, HSRL enables the integration of Hellfire onto smaller/lighter platforms such as helicopters, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), and light fixed-wing aircraft. The significant weight reduction provided by HSRL enables increased range and endurance, making it a perfect fit for UAS and other platforms where weight and power constraints are critical.

This scalable launcher adapts to mission needs with its flexible configurations, while fully compliant with the M299 MIL-STD-1760 interface. The HSRL integrates seamlessly into existing systems, offering reliable performance without the need for external electronics or AC power. Its innovative design includes a compact Rail Electronics Unit (REU), enhancing compatibility with distributed systems, including those envisioned for Future Vertical Lift (FVL).

The line replaceable Hellfire Interface Unit (HIU) and Hellfire Interface Assembly (HIA) circuit card assembly are cutting-edge Hellfire Stores Management Systems (SMS) that enable the integration of the Hellfire missile system onto existing platforms. The HIU and HIA can easily be repackaged to support existing platforms, or existing mission computers.

Moreover, the HSRL is future-ready, featuring software upgradeability that ensures ongoing support for advanced weaponry such as the AGM-179 Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM).
