Geotest Introduces Programmable Power Supplies
AUTOTESTCON Valley Forge, PA. Geotest - MTS, a Marvin Group company, announces the introduction of the GX7400 is a dual output programmable DC power supply designed for use in the 6U PXI systems.
The GX7400 occupies three 6U slots and is controlled via the PXI bus while AC power is provided using a panel mounted receptacle. The power supplies are fully isolated and can be externally connected in series or in parallel to provide higher voltage or current. The GX7400 can accommodate two power output modules, each capable of providing 30VDC @ 5A or 60VDC @ 2.5A with 14-bit programming resolution and 16-bit readback.
The GX7400 and other PXI products introduced by Geotest were developed as a result of a growing demand for low-cost, high-performance alternatives to VXI and rack instrumentation. Geotest also offers a wide range of additional PXI instruments including low-cost, high-speed digital I/O, ROM emulators and switching, and a PXI chassis.
Prices and Availability: Product shipment for the GX7400 is scheduled for Q4 2001. Starting price for the product is under $1200.
