Geotest Introduces Transportable Rack Cases

AUTOTESTCON Valley Forge, PA. Geotest - MTS, a Marvin Group company, announces the introduction of the GX7800, a rugged transport case for the PXI systems.

The GX7800 provides full elastomeric protection for field portable, and rack-mounted PXI systems. The GX7800 provides sufficient space for one 6U or two 3U PXI chassis and for an electrical Master Control Panel (MCP). The chassis and the panel are mounted on an internal, shock-mounted flange that is recessed to allow receiver interfaces such as the GX7500 to be mounted internally.

The GX7800 is constructed of weatherproof materials to provide for a rugged yet lightweight plastic exterior.  It is equipped with front and rear 19" standard EIA hole pattern panels.

The GX7800 and other PXI products introduced by Geotest were developed as a result of a growing demand for low-cost, high-performance alternatives to VXI and rack instrumentation. Geotest also offers a wide range of additional PXI instruments including low-cost, high-speed digital I/O, ROM emulators, switching, and a PXI chassis.

Availability:  Product shipment for the GX7800 is scheduled for Q3 2001.
