Geotest Introduces a 1.3GHz Time Interval Counter
AUTOTESTCON Valley Forge, PA. Geotest - MTS, a Marvin Group company, announces the introduction of the GTX2210/2220 1.3GHz time interval counter.
The GTX2210/2220 counters use reciprocal counting techniques to achieve high-resolution measurements on lower frequency signals without sacrificing measurement time. Reciprocal counting provides a fixed number of digits of resolution for all frequencies rather than a fixed resolution in Hz for the same gate time.
The GTX2210 provides 8 digits of resolution for frequencies from 1Hz to 100MHz while the GTX2220 provides 10 digits of resolution for frequencies from 1Hz to 1.3GHz.
The GTX2210/2220 and other PXI products introduced by Geotest were developed as a result of a growing demand for low-cost, high-performance alternatives to VXI and rack instrumentation. Geotest also offers a wide range of additional PXI instruments including low-cost, high-speed digital I/O, ROM emulators and switching, and a PXI chassis.
Prices and Availability: Product shipment for the GTX2210 and GTX2220 is scheduled for Q4 2001. Starting price for the product is under $2000.
